Blog maintenance

  • Do you already have a WordPress blog that isn’t as pretty as you’d like it?
  • Are you struggling with technology?
  • Are you on Facebook, Twitter, Goodreads, LinkedIn, Pinterest, Flickr, Tumblr, Google+, YouTube etc. and want links to them?
  • Do you have an exciting event coming up and want a countdown on your menu?
  • Are the pages you have just not doing what you want them to?

Then I can help. Just email me your website address, what you need doing and I’ll let you know how long it will take me to do. NB: I don’t maintain blogs ongoing but I can help get your existing site how you want it, and then give you a guide helping you maintain your own site.

I charge £10 / €12 / $15 an hour and I’m pretty quick (I’ve posted over 2,600 items to this blog since March 2011 and have had over 210,000 visitors) so unless you want a major overhaul, it shouldn’t take long or cost too much.

And I won’t charge you anything for a quote, so what do you have to lose?

If you want to go ahead, all you do is make me an administrator on your blog (Dashboard / Users / Invite New) and I can be quietly working in the background until the changes are complete.

You pay me (via Paypal) when everything’s done and you have a refreshed blog while you’ve been writing, editing or working in your garden. :)

To see an example of my work (apart from my site you’re on now), most recently I’ve been working on Jane Wenham-Jones’ WordPress blog

Home screen with 21 menus and rolling blog front page
clickable links to various websites including Jane’s Facebook, Twitter, Goodreads, LinkedIn pages
Search box throughout the site, Milestone announcing her new book, latest Twitter updates
Jane’s book’s Facebook page and Goodreads bookshelf – both update automatically
Archives (postings by month) and Pages (including sub-pages) on the blog
…and finally: Categories (e.g. genres, topics etc.) and Visitor tally (2,728 already)

So if you need a blog building or you have a WordPress site already and need help with it, do let me know.
