Extract from podcast episode 2 (August 2010) – fiction freebie

The last item of each hints & tips podcast is a piece of fiction – either flash or poetry. As I mentioned second person viewpoint earlier in the episode, I wrote this second person 60-word short story:

  • You stare out the window. Struggling to stay awake, you shift in your seat oblivious to what’s going on around you. You see something move outside then hear laughter behind you. Turning round, all the eyes are looking in your direction. The class giggles and you feel yourself burning red. You look at the chalkboard and continue the lesson.
