Nice interview! I like the comment “I don’t write for any genre. I write what I love.” Isn’t that what we do, at heart, as writers? What emerges may be a mystery or a romance, or what have you, but in the end, it’s a story we wanted to tell. And since we’re talking about stories – I think we’re entering the golden age of stories, even novellas. For generations, the novel has reigned supreme. And more recently, short stories nearly became extinct. In fact today they survive only in zoos and on game preserves. But online publishing is a fertile new planet for short stories. A nice story with a nice cover and a 99-cent price tag, and we’re back in business.

Thank you William. The fertile new planet is what I’m hoping for (mine should be ready in the next couple of weeks). 🙂 M
