Erm, yes. I’ve signed in but am currently swamped with freelance editing work so I’ve not started writing yet (or even thought about what I’m going to do). I have a choice; finish the third of three serial killer novellas or write a children’s story based on a talking dog. I’ll let you know what I decide…
I am not doing NaNoWriMo officially, but with a book to finish, another one to start, columns piling up, hundreds of emails to answer and a for-God’s-sake-do-soon paper pile that is threatening to take over the entire room, I have my own reasons for needing to buckle down this month. If you live on your own, and don’t go out to work, what’s to stop you? Well, I’d rather read about a talking dog than another serial killer… Uh, is it an intelligent dog? Does it have something to say? Does its owner dress it in silly clothes? (I feel sorry for those dogs.) Just curious.

I participated in both 2008 and 2009 and wrote two novels I have yet found time to edit. I’d like to do it this month, but I am much too busy. Maybe next year.

I just finished the corrections on last year’s novel; and I’ve done some preparation for this year’s novel. Since it’s a sequel, I’ve got the basic characters. Now I need a plot… I wrote a sequel last year, btw. You know–ideas I’ve been thinking about for years.
