    Intriguing story; and I like the cover and the way it hints at the background. If I were going to read a story about the Vietnam war–and it was not on my list of things to do–this would be the one, I think.

      I thank you for your comment. I might suggest to you that “Longworth” is not so much a story about the Vietnam War as much as it is about how the people living during this time period dealt with their lives being turned upside down. It was a very turbulent era, but also very exciting. I tried to show how the political scene conspired to affect everything from music to the relationship between parents and their offspring. In short, it is meant to be as educational as it is reflective of the gravity of the era.

      I hope you find time to delve into it. I think you will find it worthwhile.
