Update: Some highs, some lows

Oh how I empathise…

Today I haven’t written anything new at all. Not even revised old stuff. I’ve been doing more research for likely publishers for some of the manuscripts I’ve acquired over the last few years. I should feel upbeat. ‘Literally Stories’ published a short story of mine recently, I’m a featured poet on the ‘Pure Haiku’ blog, ‘Vita Brevis’ has accepted two of my poems and requested more, and I have actually sold a short story to an anthology of Norse mythology. But I would really, really like to be able to say, I’ve found a home for one of my novels. So, I’m knuckling down and trying to find one.

Harder to shift though than the unpublished novels, are the previously self-published ones. I now have back on my hands the entire ‘Green Woman’ series after a big (the word doesn’t do it justice) disappointment (I’m being polite) from the publisher…
