At just gone 10.30pm this evening (UK time), I finished NaNoWriMo with 45 words spare. In the first couple of days I’d written 7,457 then nothing until the 18th. This is quite normal for me. In fact one year I had 42,000-something to do in the last eight days and I still did it so more paced(!) this year.
Now the editing process begins!… maybe in a day or three. 🙂
In case you missed my earlier posts, here and on Facebook, the second of my women’s fiction serial series, ‘The Serial Dieter’, is free until Wednesday! Do help yourself and tell your friends… and your non-friends. Thank you!
So that’s me… over and out. How did you get on?
Wow, you did it – again. Congratulations Morgen. I wrote my 30th short story for NanoFlash yesterday and pleased that even with all the interruptions of life, I managed to complete 1 short story each day. November is certainly a great incentive.
A rest for all for a couple of days hey?

Ah, thank you, Isabel. I did wonder with nearly 7,000 words to write on the last day but I’ve done 12k before so I knew I could do it. Picking short things definitely helped, as it did you, by the sound of it. I’m now aiming for 1k each day. We’ll see. 🙂

Congrats!
I finished today as well! The story isn’t done yet though, but it’s almost there.
