Word Count Wednesday: 17 Aug 2022

Good morning. Yes, it’s that time of the week again. How have you been getting on?

Uh oh. Yeah. Mmm. Another week of houses (still both unsold yet it’s a sellers’ market?) and work deadlines, plus another unexpected book to go through so a big fast-food-stuffed zero from me.

T and I are off on our jollies tomorrow (until Tuesday) so I shall be taking my laptop with me. He plans on lots of reading so I plan on lots of writing. I’ll let you know next Wednesday if we got either done. 🙂

Do leave a comment below to share your progress, successes and otherwise, and of course anything else that’s happened to you, writing related, over the past seven days.

I have spent the week writing up the contents of my diary and emails home of a trip in 2015. We left Australia and did a family history trail through England, Scotland, Wales and Ireland , checking out ancestors for both our families. I thought it wouldn’t take long, but I was wrong.. 3 1/2 thousand words later, And I still have to search out the photos! It is family history month and a fb group I am in has challenges each week. Then I will be able to post it on my blog

    Woo Hooo! Jollies! Enjoy!
I managed to get a blog finished this week, so I’m delighted with that. Another few thousand words. Progress was slower than usual – we had a jolly too, and my challenge for the week was to get my blog out of Italy and into Albania, but I got caught up with a guest post, some Canva graphics, and a lot more historical research than I’d bargained for with the post!
At least the feedback has been good, so at least I feel like all that hard work was worth it!
I’ve got to write three more blogs before I leave Italy 🙂
