Good morning. Yes, it’s that time of the week again. How have you been getting on?
Week 3 of NaNoWriMo and I’m still at 11k (a zero word count this week, although I did do quite a bit of planning for one of the two novels I’m working on this month) but that’s fine. With the holiday to Iceland and a work project under my ever-expanding (inactivity while recuperating from a broken ankle) belt I now have the rest of the month to write the other 39k. No problem. (Ha ha ha ha ha!)
Do leave a comment below to share your progress, successes and otherwise, and of course anything else that’s happened to you, writing related, over the past seven days.
Like you, no new words this week, but I have done the final edit on my manuscript, got it formatted and uploaded on to Amazon and Ingram Spark ahead of my 9th December release.
I’ve got a few other launch tasks off my To Do list and all of a suddden, I feel like I’ve got my life back!
Word count here I come.
A week to 39K – best of luck. You can do it! 🙂

Thank you very much, and you! I might have to reign in my expectations; for a half marathon rather than the whole show but I have Sunday to Tuesday clear(ish) so we’ll see. I’m sure we’ll ‘speak’ again before the 9th but all the best for your release.

Thank you! It’s exciting, but nerve racking…
