Having seen one of my interviewees Rosanne Dingli say on a LinkedIn thread: “someone should write a blog soon about all the wonderful indie books available by very capable writers”, I challenged them to give me a <15-word synopsis for their book(s)… they are accepting the challenge and their books are appearing in the relevant genre sections (see links below). What I’m after is:
- your name (listed within each section alphabetically by first name)
- your website / blog address
- book title
- book links (where we can buy it, the more the merrier e.g. Amazon.com, Amazon.co.uk etc and specific links not just the website’s home page)
- genre
- and summary in no more than 15 words (a test of your editing skills :)).
- You can email me these details for up to 5 of your books (please don’t paste them into this page’s comments section).

Please note: the chances are that I’ve not read the books listed on this page (much as I would like to have done) so these are therefore not personal recommendations but are, in the main, by authors who I have chatted to, interviewed or got to know… even just a little bit. 🙂
- Kindle Fiction recommends a variety of eBooks and if you’ve read any eBooks you’d like to recommend then you can email suggestions to kindlesrp@gmail.com.
- There’s also a list on http://www.mediabistro.com/galleycat/free-ebook-promotion_b52130 of free places where you can also promote your books.
- Savvy Writers & eBooks online posted a link to ‘46 Top Websites to Promote your Book for Free‘.

Hi Phyllis. Firstly thank you. Secondly I was going to point you to my email address at the bottom of the page’s main content but it just said ‘send me’ which wasn’t very helpful, was it. I’ve now added my email address (morgen@morgenbailey.com) – so that paragraph now tells you everything you need. 🙂

What an inspiring site, Morgen. I’ve just finished reading the Dark Side. I could feel the woman’s anxiety and pain. The build up to the husband coming home carried me along. An extreme ending speaks of a marriage filled with violence and pain, well written.

Just read it, thanks! One quick question for you: Is most of your audience UK-based? I’d like to know this because I write all my books for a mainly US-based audience.

Usually US:UK 2:1. Almost exactly so far today (currently just before 11pm)….
United States = 137
United Kingdom = 67
Australia = 17
Canada = 14
India = 12
Mexico = 5
Morocco = 2
South Africa = 2
Germany = 2
Russian Federation = 2
Netherlands = 1
I do find though that readers do enjoy learning about other cultures and are quite happy to look things up – that’s what the internet’s for. 🙂
